How is Ductile Cast Iron produced in Trakya Döküm?

The ductile cast iron foundries are fully automatic synchronised production line equipped with Disamatic 230X and 2013 Mk 5A machines, with a cooling zone of 100 and 64 m. long; automatic presspour, Inductotherm medium frequency melting furnaces and vibro-conveyors with a race-track at the end of the line.

Pouring adjustments are made by using Teach-In and/or Laser Pour and/or visipour. Stream line inoculation takes place during pouring. Inoculation system has security precautions which stops the production automatically when the quantity of inoculation material is incorrect.
